Refund policy

1. Agreement & Acceptance

By purchasing, downloading, and/or installing any product from Limbic Bits, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, as well as our [Privacy Policy]. By proceeding with your purchase, you accept full legal responsibility to comply with them.

2. Product Ownership & Licensing

All Limbic Bits products are licensed, not sold, to you as a single user. You may not sell, sub-license, share, rent, or transfer the license without prior written consent.
All prices listed include VAT where applicable.

3. Delivery Policy

All Limbic Bits products are digital downloads — no physical items will be shipped.
Upon completing your purchase, you will receive an email containing download instructions.
If you do not receive this email or experience difficulties downloading your product, please contact us within 14 days of purchase.
If we do not hear from you within that time frame, the product will be considered successfully delivered.

4. Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. However, due to the nature of digital products, refunds are subject to the following conditions:

Eligibility for a Refund

You may be eligible for a full refund if:

The product has not been downloaded (i.e., the download link has not been accessed).
The product was not as described in our documentation or promotional materials.

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued if:

You have already downloaded the product (“breaking the digital seal”).
You change your mind after purchase.
The product is incompatible with your system (it is your responsibility to verify compatibility before purchasing).
The product has been used in a way that violates our license terms or is obtained illegally.

All refund decisions are made at the discretion of Limbic Bits.

Refund Process

Contact Limbic Bits: Submit your refund request via the support form or customer service email, including your order details and a clear description of the issue.
Review: Limbic Bits will evaluate your request and may ask for additional details or screenshots.
Decision: If approved, your refund will be processed within 1–7 business days to your original payment method.

5. License & Usage Rights

All soundsets, samples, instruments, and presets from Limbic Bits are royalty-free and can be used for commercial or non-commercial music production, film scoring, game audio, and similar creative applications. You are free to release, distribute, and perform works created using these sounds in any medium.

6. Restrictions

You may not:

Resell, share, or distribute any Limbic Bits products or sound files in their original or derivative form.
Use any part of the content to create competing sound libraries, sample packs, or synthesizer presets.
All products remain the intellectual property of Limbic Bits. Unauthorized duplication or distribution is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

7. Liability

All Limbic Bits products are provided “as is.” While every effort is made to ensure quality, we cannot guarantee that products will be error-free or compatible with every system. Limbic Bits is not liable for any direct or indirect damages, including but not limited to hardware damage, data loss, or performance issues arising from the use of our products. Our total liability will never exceed the amount paid for your license.

8. Termination of License

These terms remain in effect until terminated by either you or Limbic Bits. You may terminate your license by deleting all copies of the product. We reserve the right to terminate your license immediately if you breach these terms.

9. Policy Updates

Limbic Bits may revise this Return & Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website. Purchasing or downloading our products indicates your full acceptance of this policy.
