Welcome!

I am Limbic Bits — a passionate sound designer, synth nerd, author, and electronic musician. With over two decades of experience in sound design, I’ve had the pleasure of trying out hundreds of synths and creating thousands of presets for myself, other companies, or for sale here.

Exploring genres from Ambient and IDM to EBM, Industrial, and (Melodic / Progressive / Dub) Techno, I aim to keep my sound packs diverse yet consistently useful for creating real, expressive music.
If you’re using synths from Twisted Electrons, Modal Electronics, Mayer EMI, Waldorf, or Sonicware, chances are high that you’ve already worked with some of my presets.

Consulting

Apart from sound design, I am occasionally involved in the product development of various synth projects, giving feedback and helping shape the conceptual design of features, workflow, and user experience. If you’re planning to create a synth, sampler, or drum machine and need honest (but hopefully helpful) feedback, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
