To start, the first twelve slots of “Technoid” are loaded with a range of dub chords, which serve as a central focus of this library. When played as minor chords, they are ideal for styles like dub and Detroit techno. At the same time, they can be effectively repurposed for leads and arpeggios, offering additional flexibility in your compositions.

In addition, another major focus of “Technoid” lies in its pad sounds. Among the ten variations, you’ll find both complex digital textures and warm pads with an analog-like character. These sounds are perfect for adding depth and atmosphere to your tracks.

Furthermore, the collection is rounded out with seven bass sounds and three percussion sounds, completing a well-balanced and versatile preset pack.

“Technoid” includes 32 new Korg Volca presets:

  • Dub Chords: 12
  • Pads: 10
  • Bass: 7
  • Percussion: 3

“Technoid” is fully compatible with the Korg Volca FM, Volca FM 2, and any other FM synthesizer that supports DX7 Bank import.

Please note: You will need to install the freeware software DEXED to send this bank to your VolcaFM.

Waldorf Iridium Fusion users please note: Some presets from the Technoid library have been partially used in the Waldorf Iridium Fusion Library. While they’ve been heavily adapted and expanded to make full use of Iridium’s sound engine—both in terms of depth and macros—you will likely notice some similarities between the two collections. So if you already own “Fusion”, you might find “TECHNOID” somewhat redundant.
