IK Multimedia UNO SYNTH PRO X Presets: Dawn
Dawn is a sound pack for the IK Multimedia UNO Synth Pro X. This sound set includes 52 new UNO SYNTH PRO X presets with a strong focus on ambient, techno, and electronica. Of course, the patches also work well in other genres.
“DAWN” covers a wide range of sounds, including numerous fat basses and complex lead sounds, paraphonic pads, and hypnotic dub chords. A small selection of FX sounds rounds out the package. For a quick start or first impressions, many of the patches come with pre-programmed patterns. These often include motion sequences that bring dynamics to the sound.
Assignments: Aftertouch, Modwheel, and Velocity
While the UNO Synth Pro X itself does not offer velocity-sensitive pads, dynamically playable presets are essential, especially for electronic music. Therefore, most presets already have pre-configured routings in the mod matrix. This allows the presets to be played expressively with an external controller during live performances and to be additionally shaped with the mod wheel and aftertouch.
